Norbert
Norbert is a Hungarian tattoo artist born in Transylvania, drawing on more than two decades of experience in the craft. He began tattooing in 2002 and has worked in several cities across Europe, with his journey taking him through Nagyvárad (Oradea), Prague, and now Budapest.
Originally rooted in realism, his style evolved after joining Knuckle Up in 2018. Today, his work blends bold graphic expression with design-forward composition—clean lines, geometric tension, dynamic structure, and a sense of movement inspired by illustration, digital art, and comics. He values creating imagery from imagination rather than tracing photographs, focusing on visuals that feel intentional, impactful, and uniquely tailored to the individual wearing them.
Norbert enjoys working across multiple tattoo styles—dark art, blackwork, American traditional, neo-traditional, new school, woodcut and engraving-inspired linework, dotwork, sacred geometry, and experimental concept pieces. He treats each tattoo not only as a design challenge but as a chance to build something meaningful with the person sitting in the chair.
Known for being an extreme extrovert, he talks a lot—in the best way. Sessions with him often feel like a mix between creating art and having a good, grounding conversation. Comfort, safety, and connection come first. For him, tattooing isn’t just about marking the skin. It’s an experience. A ritual. A small ceremony you walk away from changed, even just a little.
